 Ma. Amylyn Sison-de Quiros—or Milen as how she was fondly called by her colleagues—was a force to be reckoned with, both in the industry and as founder of Full Circle Communications, Inc. (Full Circle).

Before her demise in April of 2016, she held more than 30 years of experience in the field of communications and public relations.

She founded Full Circle Communications on June 2, 2000 and was able to establish the agency as one of the leading Public Relations firms in the Philippines, serving both local and multinational clients.

Although a Political Science graduate of the University of the Philippines (U.P.), Milen considered a career in Public Relations as a calling, a passion she wanted to pursue.

Before establishing Full Circle, she joined various agencies, such as the now-defunct Bureau of National and Foreign Information, Philippine News Agency, and Ministry of Public Information.

In 1982, she joined Land Bank of the Philippines, one of the country’s biggest financial institutions, where she later became the vice president for its Public Affairs Group. Her stint resulted in numerous awards of excellence for the agency in various promotion and advertising-related works.

In 1999, she earned an APR (accredited PR practitioner) title, a status from the Public Relations Society of the Philippines, which signifies a high professional level of expertise and competence in PR work. She was also a member of the International Public Relations Association, where she joined a small and elite circle of APRs in the country.

As one of the respected PR professionals in the country, she handled big-ticket clients, including Pfizer, Unilever Philippines, Deutsche Bank, Manila Water Company, Millennium Challenge Account-Philippines, and Jollibee Foods Corporation, among many others.

For Milen, her career in PR is more than just providing positive media exposures and publicity services to companies and individuals, it is about creating sustainable relationships that grow to become a network of changemakers. For this, she was known to become one of the most sincere and passionate PR professionals in the country who, over time, gained a network of friends and colleagues by making a positive and lasting impact on their lives.
