Ms. Dizon’s professional profile is closely linked with that of SM, a dynamic group of companies with core businesses in retail merchandising and shopping centers.

She joined the company as PR Coordinator in 1981, and has seen its growth from a department store chain to a group of niche retail stores and shopping centers throughout the country. Just as the company grew, her responsibilities increased with her promotions from PR Coordinator to Publicity Manager to Assistant Group Head to Assistant Vice President to Senior Assistant Vice President, First Vice President, Vice President, and presently Senior Vice President of its Marketing Communications Group.

As Senior Vice President, Ms. Dizon handles media relations, image buildings, and crisis management functions for its retail and shopping centers group. These include the global retail brands that SM has partnerships with. She also assists the company’s top management in their corporate communications and community relations efforts.
