She was Vice President and Head of Communication & Corporate Affairs of Holcim Philippines, Inc. (HPI), a cement manufacturing and construction solutions company, where she led its country communication for reputation management, internal and external communication management linking global, regional and country corporate communication policies and programs, public relations, stakeholder relations, media relations, sustainability, CSR and community relations, public affairs, and represented and spoke for the company.

Earlier, she was in the energy industry as Senior Manager for Communication and later for Marketing Programs; its Corporate Editor, and PR Head at the Manila Electric Company (Meralco), where she was mentored as a junior writer by journalists from the then Manila Chronicle. She rose from the ranks and managed and led over the years, its internal and external communication campaigns, publications, advertising, special events and general public programs.

Before Meralco, she was communication resource person at the Career Executive Service Board (CESB) that at that time had just been spun off from the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP), and had a stint as a radio talent for a learning series of the Department of Education (DepEd).
